Dr. Andrew Anthofer is a neurologically and biomechanically based wellness chiropractor who works with families in Ames and the surrounding community to provide them with proper individualized wellness care.

Dr. Andrew believes in the natural healing power of the body through specific chiropractic care. He also believes in the importance of diet and nutrition and the role it plays in overall wellness. He loves to get to know you while putting you on the path to better health.

Dr. Andrew’s interest in chiropractic care began in high school, but first, he pursued a Bachelor's in Biopsychology at Morningside College in Sioux City, IA. At Morningside, Dr. Andrew wrestled all four years of college. He attributes his success at college to the discipline he learned while being a part of the team. Upon graduating, he began work as an in-home counselor. It was here he learned about connecting with people. After a while, he realized his true dream of becoming a chiropractor and pursued his degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Graduating in June of 2017; Dr. Andrew now owns Ames Chiropractic & Wellness Center PLLC in Ames, IA.

Dr. Andrew is not the first in his family to practice chiropractic care. His great-grandfather graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic back in 1927. His brother, Dr. Alex Anthofer, is also a chiropractor in Nashua, IA, who also graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic.

In his spare time, Dr. Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife Alexa, and his son Ripp.
